
Laurie Iwami serves as a strategic affiliate for brand management, TAM expansion, and global go-to-market strategy. For both corporate and non-profit businesses, Laurie helps institutions capitalize on their market differentiators to strengthen customer loyalty as well as to continuously delight new customers.
Laurie has held senior leadership roles in marketing and outbound communications at start-ups and Fortune 200 companies, including HDMI, SanDisk, NVIDIA, and Western Digital. At WDC, she and her team successfully re-imagined the WD_Black® brand, transforming into the WDC’s premier gaming storage product line. During her tenure at HDMI, Laurie helped build the HDMI brand to today’s de-facto connectivity standard and earned a Technical EMMY® for the standard’s impact on the television industry. She is also focused on the intersection between for-profit and non-profits as a way of extending capacity for both the institutions and the customers they serve.
Laurie holds a BA from Stanford University and an MA from Johns Hopkins University and serves as a Board Member of the Youth Arts Collective (YAC) of Monterey, CA.
